Darrel Vecchio -- Senior Licence . Advanced Acc-C. Youth Goal Keeper Licensed Coach

Darrel Vecchio commenced his coaching career over 15 years ago .Darrel's wife Lorella thought it would be a great idea to volunteer him as a coach. Having a family of 4 children, with 3 boys playing the game, it was a great opportunity to be with his boys.

Over the past 15 years , Darrel has progressively increased his knowledge and successfully completed his Junior, Youth to Senior coaching AFC- C qualified International  and Youth Goal Keeper Licenses in ( Soccer) Football .

In 2004-2007 Darrel was the Director Of Coaching for Albany Creek Excelsior Soccer Club Inc junior football program, responsible for over 700 players and 56 coaches, he has successfully authored 3 coaching manuals for ACE and 1 coaching manual for Brisbane North & Districts Soccer Association.

Darrel has coached many teams from Under 6- Under 18 from BJL-Div 1-5 within the club and with the Brisbane Representative program, and in recent years as a specialist Goal Keeper coach for the Under 12. 13 goal keepers in the Rebel Premier League competition.

In 2008 was appointed Goal keeper coach for the State development camps for Under 13 Girls and boys Goalkeepers.

Darrel is a coaching instructor for Grassroots training and Junior coaching licenses. He is actively involved with player and coaching development within Queensland with Football Queensland and the various Football clubs in Brisbane.
